The story
My father told me this story. When I was in primary school, there was a teacher called Abdullah. He was teaching me maths and I loved him very much, he loved me too. But I never forget the incident that happened between us during the math lesson . Mr. Abdullah surprised me with a surprise sudden, saying, "Hassan ! If I give you a banana, a banana and a banana, how many bananas do you have? I answered " four".Mr. Abdullah was astonished and asked the same question again, I answered the same answer. The students were impressed by my answer, as did Mr.Abdullah. But he controlled his anger and asked me again, "Well, if I gave you an apple, an apple, and an apple, how many apples would you have?" I said, "Three." Mr. Abdullah rejoiced and said to me, "Very good ." he said " why did you say four in the first question?"
I replied: Because I already had a banana, I brought it with me from the house , and the number is four bananas. And you always advise me to be honest "
Mr. Abdullah smiled: On the contrary, I admired your honesty . Professor Abdullah asked the students: Did you know that Hassan's story today teaches us an important moral lesson?
The students said: what is it ?
"When someone gives you an answer that's different from what you expect, don't judge it as a wrong answer. Maybe there's something you didn't take into account.

:حكى لى أبى هذه القصة
عندما كنت في الصف الابتدائي كان يدرسني معلم اسمه عبد الله كان يرسنا مادة الحساب وكنت احبه جدا ، وهو كان يحبني ايضا. لكن لا انسى تلك الواقعة التي حدثت بيننا اثناء حصة الحساب . فقد فاجأني الاستاذ عبد اللبسؤال مفاجئ قائلا :ياحسن ! لو اعطيتك موزةو موزة و موزة ، فكم عدد الموز لديك فأجبته : اربعه .
تعجب الأستاذ عبد الله واعاد السؤال على مرة اخرىفأجبت بنفس الرقم . تعجب التلاميذ فى الفصل من اجابتي وكذلك تعجب الاستاذ عبد الله .وبدأ يظهر عليه عصبية لم اعهدها . لكنه تمالك نفسه وسالني مرة اخرى قائلا : حسنا لو اعطيتك تفاحة و تفاحة و تفاحة، فكم عدد التفاح سيكون لديك؟ فأجبته : ثلاثة. فرح الاستاذ عبد الله وقال لي :رائع جدا.ثم اردف قائلا : اذن لماذا قلت فى السؤال الاول ان معك اربعة من الموز؟
فأجبت: لاني املك موزة بالفعل احضرتها معي من البيتف يصبح العدد اربعه من الموز. وقد تعلمت منك الا اكذب يا استاذي .فسامحني يا استاذ ان كانت اجابتي ازعجتك
ابتسم المعلم عبد الله قائلا: بالعكس انا احييك على صدقك . وقال الاستاذ عبد الله للطلاب : هل تعلمون ان قصة حسن اليوم تعلمنا درس أخلاقي مهم ؟
فقال الطلاب : ماهويا معلمنا ؟قال الأستاذ عبد الله :عندما يعطيك احـدهم اجابة تختلف عما تـتوقعه فلا تحكم علي انها اجابة خاطئة. لربما كانت هناك زاوية لم تأخذها بعين الاعتبار، يجب عليك ان تصغي جيدا كي تفهم، وألا تصغي وانـت تحمل فكرة او انطباع معد مـسبقا
